Key Indicators
Due to the outstanding achievements in promoting microinsurance, Fglife has received the Financial Supervisory Commission's Outstanding Business Performance Award for five consecutive years and the Care for the Disabled Award four times.
Inclusive Insurance Products
Based on the principles of fairness, reasonableness, and equal mutual benefits in insurance rights, Fglife has established ten inclusivity indicators in our product design. The Company develops highly inclusive financial products to enhance product inclusivity, reduce financial access gaps caused by different social barriers, and address protection gaps resulting from economic income disparities, thereby fulfilling our corporate social responsibility.
Micro-insurance Continues to Expand Coverage
In order to promote inclusive finance and fair customer treatment, and to respond to the government's safety net policies for disadvantaged groups, Fglife has been donating microinsurance premiums for 9 consecutive years. This initiative aims to protect vulnerable individuals and beneficiaries of social welfare organizations, including people with disabilities, elderly individuals, cancer patients, crime victims, economically disadvantaged families, and women and children. In 2023, Farglory Life has insured over 31,000 people, as well as reached a total value of around NT$ 14.5 Billion.
Elderly Product
Farglory life proactively addresses the insurance needs of the elderly and has launched the Fglife Small-sum Endowment Insurance. This product provides lifelong coverage at affordable premiums for individuals aged 0 to 84. It aims to assist those who face limitations in their financial capabilities or are unable to obtain insurance due to age restrictions. With lower premiums, individuals can obtain life insurance coverage and increase their insurance protection. The coverage limit has been raised from a maximum of NT$700,000 to NT$900,000, contributing to the establishment of a basic insurance safety net for the general public, elderly individuals, people with disabilities, and disadvantaged groups.
